Nana Akua Addo reportedly assaulted by husband

Multiple videos circulating on social media purport to show Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo in a heated confrontation with members of her husband’s family. Other clips circulating on TikTok appear to show an alleged physical altercation involving her husband.

In one of the videos, a man believed to be her brother-in-law is seen engaged in a heated exchange with her, in the presence of her mother-in-law, her husband, and a child. During the exchange, the man is heard making unverified allegations of infidelity and using derogatory language. The authenticity of the videos and the claims made in them have not been independently verified.

Responding to the allegations, Nana Akua Addo fired back: “The effrontery. Even you that sleep with house girls.”

The man then responded: “I love house girls. A prostitute like you, you be sleeping with land guards, you be sleeping with people. You’re mad. You sleep with people; everybody knows.”

Her husband, who was also present during the confrontation, was heard saying, “Shame on you,” before walking out of the room.

The man believed to be her brother-in-law then claimed he had videos to support his allegations.

The exchange intensified when Nana Akua Addo accused him of ambushing and insulting her.

“You ambush me, and you call me ashawo (prostitute), and you don’t even have DNA on your children. All my children are from one father. You fathered a child out of wedlock. Take it from your mother,” she said.

Responding to her remarks, the man replied: “So? I love all my children. I am a man.”

In separate videos that have since surfaced online, Nana Akua Addo was also seen involved in a heated physical altercation with her husband.

Meanwhile, videos and images capturing Nana Akua Addo at a health facility with a swollen lip, blood-stained clothes, and visible injuries have flooded social media, further fueling discussions surrounding the incident.

Although she has not issued a formal statement on the matter, she was reportedly seen in the comment section of one of the videos, appealing to an acclaimed TikTok blogger to take down some of the videos circulating online for the sake of her children.

Meanwhile, videos purportedly showing Nana Akua Addo’s husband being arrested and escorted in handcuffs have also gone viral on social media, further fueling public interest in the incident.
