President Mahama’s Name Pops Up In The €260m Cocaine Case
The Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Vincent Ekow Assuafuah, has raised serious concerns regarding one of the suspects implicated in the $260 million cocaine bust in France, reportedly linked to a shipment from Ghana.
He claims that the suspect, Musah Atta, is part of the security detail that once served both President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
In a recent statement, the MP shared photographs he suggests show suspects near the President and Vice President, expressing his bewilderment over how such connections could exist.
“US$261.45 million cocaine bust and one accused, Musah Atta, is reportedly part of the security detail of both the President and Vice President.
“How does a presidential security operative become linked to a case of this magnitude? Who granted the access, and who was watching the watchers?” he added.
In pictures the MP shared, he singled out a man he claims to be Musah Atta, who was part of the security detail of the president at his swearing-in on January 7, 2025.
Another picture showed a man who looks like the same person protecting the vice president.
It is instructive to note that GhanaNkomo.com cannot independently verify the claims of the Old Tafo legislator.
