Rick Ross Arrested
Rick Ross turned himself in to authorities on Thursday morning, facing two charges of battery stemming from allegations made by an ex-girlfriend who accused him of violent behavior.
According to reports, the incident allegedly occurred on August 28. The woman stated that while she was asleep in their shared home, Ross confronted her in a fit of jealousy over a social media photo and the situation escalated into violence.
She claimed that he accused her of dishonesty and slapped her across the face. As the confrontation continued, she says he questioned her about her loyalty, hitting her each time she denied involvement with anyone else.
The woman described a series of attacks, alleging that Ross struck her in the chest multiple times, choked her until she struggled to breathe, and pulled her by her ponytail, slamming her against a wall.
After showing police evidence of her injuries, Rick Ross voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement but chose not to discuss her allegations.

Court records show Rick has pleaded not guilty to both charges. Per reports, he is still in custody, as his legal team is working to get him released.
Rick Ross’ lawyers Steve Sadow and Bradley Horenstein told TMZ, “William Roberts II, professionally known as Rick Ross, is being wrongfully accused by an ex-girlfriend whose true motivations are unclear. The ex did not even file a police report until a month after the claimed incident allegedly took place.
“Roberts is innocent and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He respectfully requests that his friends, fans, and the general public not prejudge the situation and allow the judicial process to run its course.”
Meanwhile, Rick Ross is in police custody in Miami-Dade County. He is being held on a $5,000 bond on the battery by strangulation charge and a $1,000 bond on the battery charge. He is scheduled to be arraigned again on October 22.
