At the massive MoMoFest x ShattaFest concert held in Ho on Saturday, October 3, 2026, Shatta Wale stunned the crowd when he performed his arch-rival Stonebwoy’s hit song “Putuu” live on stage.
The concert, which was moved from Ho Sports Stadium to the larger Youth Resource Centre due to overwhelming demand, was organized by MTN MobileMoney Ghana in collaboration with the Shatta Movement. Ahead of the show, Shatta Wale announced that fans would not pay entry fees, saying Volta is his motherland and he wanted to honour his roots.

Addressing the crowd after the performance, the SM boss made a powerful statement about unity:
“They can’t stop me from loving Stonebwoy. They can’t stop me from supporting what Stonebwoy is doing. I don’t have enemy.”
The moment has left fans emotional, especially as Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have had one of the most talked-about rivalries in Ghanaian music for over a decade. Many fans described it as a historic moment for Ghana music and a call for peace between the SM and BHIM camps.
Shatta Wale’s performance in Ho also included preaching peace and announcing plans to expand his Shaxi business to the Volta Region to create jobs for keke riders and drivers.
The MoMoFest X ShattaFest Ho edition is already being described as one of the biggest nights in Ho’s entertainment history, with Shatta Wale making history after more than 10 years since his last performance in the region.
